Since March, we’ve been finding different ways to keep connecting with audiences at home – we might not be coming Right on your Doorstep for the moment, but we can definitely beam a bit of BTO right to your home, Right on your Sofa.
We’ve introduced a regular Monday night bedtime story for families to gather round and watch, a Friday evening gig – music and singers across all genres, poetry, and even a Circus on your Sofa – and artist takeover days from Studio McGuire (our digital partners), The Herd (our associate theatre company), Lydia Caprani (the artist on our Bilton Grange Mural Project and illustrator of our beautiful children’s activity book for lockdown) and Lost in Translation (one of our circus partners).
On 16 March, our Facebook page was liked by 3373 people. This now (as of September) stands at 5033 – a huge increase of 1660 purely through digital output – and we’ve had a whopping total digital audience of 643,614 and a live audience of 26,682 so far.
Everyone’s welcome to the BTO party, so hop onto our Facebook page and see if you find something you like…
