Back to Ours awarded ACE NPO Funding

We’re so happy to share the amazing news that Back to Ours will now be an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation funded for the next three years, so expect more Sharrabangs, Shindigs, Parades and wonderful shows and projects, Right on your Doorstep.

As a CPP, we’ve been hosted for the past five years by Goodwin Development Trust who’ve chaired our Steering Group alongside Freedom Festival Arts Trust, Absolutely Cultured and Hull Culture and Leisure. It’s amazing to know ACE has every confidence in our work and recognises our ability to contribute to Let’s Create as a National Portfolio Organisation – the next three years will see us continue to deliver work with people at its heart as Back to Ours Arts Limited, a new charity with Louise Yates BEM as its Director.

A massive thanks to all our Hub members – local residents who work alongside us to shape Back to Ours – our wonderful volunteers Chat to Ours and Act to Ours, and to everyone who’s supported us along the way – and while it’s good news for us, we know many organisations didn’t get the news they deserved and wanted. We’re thinking of you, and while there are tough times ahead throughout the sector, we hope it’s not the end.
