Visual Artist Call Out!

Our Hub Members are looking to commission a visual artist with experience and passion for working outdoors and with people, someone who can bring people together through a creative project.

 

Back to Ours Hub Members are staging events in their streets and green spaces for all of their neighbours, family and friends to enjoy. They’d like a visual artist to work across the different neighbourhoods, developing a piece of work that:

• Engages people who live there;
• Celebrates the neighbourhoods in some way;
• Utilises the assets in the area.

We’d love the artist to work closely with local residents to create a new piece of work that responds to the area and people in it.

Duration: Focusing on July through to September

Budget: £5000 to including artist fees, materials and infrastructure

 

We’re inviting artists to submit a proposal no later than Fri 1 July. Proposals will be reviewed by a panel of Hub Members and a member of the Back to Ours team.
